How do I create or edit a menu?

  1. Navigate to the Menus section in your Prestau dashboard.
  2. To create a new menu, click Add Menu and input details such as name, type (e.g., delivery, dine-in), and description.
  3. To edit, click the Edit button next to the menu. Make necessary changes and save. Ensure you publish updates to reflect changes across delivery platforms.

As an alternative, you can also ask us to import your existing menus, so there is no manual work.

Can I schedule menus for specific times?

Yes! Use the menu scheduling feature to assign menus for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or custom time periods. This is what we call ‘dayparting’. This ensures the correct menu is live at the right times.

You can also opt to only show certain categories, items, modifier groups etc. at certain time intervals.

How do I add food items or categories to a menu?

  1. Items: Open the menu in edit mode, locate the desired category, and click Add Items. Select products from your catalogue and save changes.
  2. Categories: Use the Add Category button, provide a name and optional description, and upload images if needed.

How can I update pricing?

You can adjust prices either:

  1. Directly in Prestau for unique channel-specific pricing.
  2. Through your POS system, syncing it with Prestau afterwards.
  3. Create a customisation, which handles pricing for a particular store / channel(s) combo, or store group / channel(s) combo.

How does Prestau handle orders?

Prestau consolidates orders from multiple delivery platforms into one interface, syncing them with your POS. This minimises errors and simplifies order management.

Can I export order reports?

Yes, go to the Orders section and select the export option to download detailed reports in CSV format for further analysis.

Which delivery platforms are supported?

Prestau supports a wide range of platforms, including UberEats, DoorDash, Grubhub, Deliveroo, JustEat / Takeaway.com and others. In case you want to inquire about a platform not mentioned here, contact us.

What if I encounter publishing issues?
